Tuscaloosa tornado
Disregard the assholes talking. Excuse my language. They could at least show a little sympathy. I mean, I love tornadoes and love meteorology but I’m at least sympathetic whenever something like this happens. From a strictly scientific and nature loving standpoint, it is cool and amazing but I feel so sorry for what those people when through and their losses.
Satellite photo of the tornado track in Alabama. That’s an outrageous damage path! Courtesy of NASA Earth Observatory.

Here is the caption under their photo: This is a mindblowing picture. We saw the birth of this monster and stayed with this thing until it crossed the road. then with all the downed trees, rolled vehicles, and debris. WOW!! We witnessed 5 major tornadoes that day including a close range of the EF-5 in Philadelphia, MS. This day changed my life on the power of these monsters and the destruction they cause. I have never heard a thunderous roar like this!!

Great site that analyzes severe weather. I love the site. Also, become a fan on Facebook if you’re into that sort of thing.
Severe weather
I’m enjoying the severe weather from my dorm room!! If it’s not too late and we get some rotation close by, I might go out and chase!
